Moderation policy

Last updated: June 17, 2026

How reports work

Outdoorsy accepts reports about unsafe, misleading, abusive, or policy-violating events, reviews, profiles, provider content, and controlled messages. Reports may be reviewed by allowlisted admins or moderators using internal-only tooling.

Possible actions

We may hide messages, unlist or reject content, flag or remove reviews, restrict organizer/provider actions, or apply sanctions where necessary for safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or launch-quality control.

Provider and organizer sanctions

Provider verification findings and sanctions are reviewed through audited admin workflows. Provider agreement approval and trusted status may be blocked or reversed if moderation, legal, or safety issues are unresolved.

Appeals and contact

If you believe moderation action was taken in error, contact hello@outdoorsyhq.com. Provide relevant account, event, and moderation context so we can review the decision.

Urgent safety or legal escalation

Email is still the primary contact path. If email is not practical for an urgent legal or safety follow-up, use the published support number shown on the Support page.
