Refunds and cancellations

Current beta status
Outdoorsy currently supports free RSVP/free booking flows only unless a paid booking flow is explicitly enabled later.
Payments, paid bookings, refunds, payouts, restaurant reservations, accommodation bookings, and marketplace transactions are currently disabled.
If paid bookings are enabled later
If paid bookings are enabled later, refund eligibility will depend on the event/provider cancellation policy shown at booking time.
Provider cancellation, overbooking, or failure to deliver may make the customer eligible for refund review.
User cancellation windows may vary by event/provider.
Fees, processing, and timing
Transaction fees/payment gateway fees may be non-refundable where permitted by law and payment provider rules.
Refunds, if approved, will be processed to the original payment method where technically possible.
Approved refunds are normally initiated within 5-7 working days where supported by the payment provider, but final credit timelines may depend on the bank, card network, or payment method.
Review and rejection conditions
Outdoorsy may reject refund requests involving misuse, fraud, policy abuse, no-show, or breach of event/provider rules.
Outdoorsy may recover refund/compensation amounts from providers where provider fault caused the issue, subject to provider agreement.
Free RSVP events
For free RSVP events, cancellation means release of the spot, not a money refund.
